OUR POLICIES 

Initial Consulation

New clients must schedule an initial consultation prior to start of services. Our initial consultation is free and will take approximately 30 minutes. During this visit we will gather information about your pet(s) and home and all pertinent contact information.

Payment

Full payment is due by start of first visit. Payment can be made by personal check or cash and left on your counter to be picked up at first visit. There is a $25 service fee for all returned checks.

Cancellations

If you must cancel your reservation, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to start of services.

Early Return

Please notify us as soon as possible should you plan on returning early so that we do not make an unnecessary trip to your home. If we arrive to find that you have returned early without contacting us, you will be charged for the remaining visit(s).

Refunds/Credits

Refunds and credits will be given at owner’s discretion.

Holidays

Holidays will incur a $3 additional charge per visit and include Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, New Years Eve and Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.

Aggressive Pets

Paw Sitters, LLC does not accept any pets with aggression issues towards people or other animals.

Last Minute/Emergency Visits 

We recommend booking your reservation at least one week prior to start of services. Any bookings with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a flat rate of $22.

Veterinary Emergencies

Should a veterinary emergency arise, we will call you first and then transport your pet promptly to your veterinarian, or, if your vet office is closed, to the nearest veterinary emergency clinic of our choosing if one is not provided by you.  Clients will be responsible for all veterinary services and charges.

Keys

Keys are to be presented at time of initial consultation and will be kept securely on file for future services. If a key cannot be provided at time of initial consultation or you would like your key returned at end of services there will be a $10 pick up/drop off fee.

Vaccinations

All pets must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, including rabies.
